Today, I went to the minor injuries department at Mater Hospinal for a checkup of my knee injury if nothing was broken. Before hand, I checked online waiting time. It showed ~ 60 min. I was seen by the first nurse just after 10 mins of waiting. Then, I was directed to the X-ray unit. Everyone was very pleasant, professional, and efficient. I am very happy and grateful for the service.

Worst department, I took my dad on 17th Feb to the ED, after 2 hours upon checking the reception guy told that due to system error, I wasn’t even registered, so those 2 hours waiting time was waste, and then we went to triage and then gave bloods, and then we waited for whole 12 hours to talk to the doctor, unfortunately got Fed up and then went home after 12 hours. Excellent medical staff who are doing their utmost best, despite lack of enough staff including the Mental Health Teams.

Came at 7 pm, by 3:40 left as the queue didn’t move for 3 hours at all. Unless you are dying don’t come.

Came in at 8pm after being sent straight from beldoc by doctor , was seated for around 30 mins and got bloods taken without any questions, the doctor at beldoc had written instructions on what to do with my infected finger(open and drain it) which had nothing to do with bloods being taken, noticed that after a few hours everybody had been drawn blood without knowledge of their injury or sickness, stayed until 2am and i nor anybody else who had been there before me or shortly after had been seen again or updated on any blood ... read more
