I have been under mater Cancer care for some years now - originally on a trial which kept cancer at bay for several years. Two years ago the cancer returned and Mater Cancer Care have been so supportive. I am in my senior years but this does not matter as I have never been told to go home and have a good life. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, allied health, administration staff and volunteers. Mater is a safe place to be if you are in my shoes.
I almost enjoyed going to hospital for treatment
My wife, Jan, has been a patient at the Cancer Care Centre for the past eighteen months, having undergone surgery and radiation treatment for breast cancer. She expressed very high compliments about the staff and service, their caring attitude and efficiency, always being ready to explain aspects to the treatment. She was very pleased with the outcome of her experience.
