Went for brunch. Service was slow. Food was fine but basic. Staff seems very unenthusiastic.
I loved mateos. Yes I was in past tense... It unfortunately has closed because the building sold and the new landlord did not renew the lease. The good news is they have a sister restaurant in gunbarrel - Raglin Market. And in speaking with the owner he is planning on combining the two concepts... I'm looking forward to it!
We had a reservation for Easter brunch, only to show up to a note posted on the door that they are not opening for the day. There were quite a few other diners showing up to the same disappointment. They didn't bother to call, text, or cancel online reservations. Incredibly unprofessional and disappointing, especially on Easter morning when finding another reservation is incredibly difficult.
