Matco moved me from Northern Alberta to Winnipeg, Mb, in October 2025. From Lorraine helping me with any and all questions and doing an excellent video walkthrough estimate of my home contents, to Billy, Shannon and Greg, the powerhouse team that packed up my entire home and moved it all the way to Winnipeg; this is a group of incredibly knowledgeable and hard working professionals. All I will say is make sure you get quote in writing/invoice and dated. They will try and up prices after a while without you being told this. Not in quite. Watch for charges for unloading onto pallet and wrapping boxes. My bil and I unloaded unto pallet but were charged for this. Guys in Abbotsford were amazing where I picked up my boxes.
One of the most unprofessional companies around. Decided to wake up my block at 9 am on a Saturday, ringing door bells and walking away. Just to get people to move their vehicles on a residential block so they could park a semi trailer infront of our houses.
We chose Matco based on a recommendation from family that raved about them on a move from FL to MA. We were going to Canada and since they're a Canadian-based company, it seemed like a good fit. We very much appreciate the experience from start to finish. Cathy Goodwin was our contact and led me every step of the way to get this move done. She's very knowledgeable about cross-border moves and was very helpful throughout.
