The representative/move coordinator was fabulous but the movers were more interested in setting a speed record than caring for my belongings. Several items were broken or damaged in some way and United Van Lines didn’t take any responsibility. For the $6,000 claim that I submitted, they offered me $6. Extremely disappointing and very unprofessional.
Matco Moving was fantastic! The idea of moving is already dreadful. Cathy and her team were wonderful and made the move as easy as possible. Packing crew took great care with the items, no broken china or knickknacks. Delivery crew was super too! Furniture was unwrapped, boxes brought to the correct room, and any empty boxes removed when they left. Again, no damage to our home or the furniture or boxes. Thanks to the Matco team for making our recent office move feel smooth and effortless. They are extremely professional from the first visit to talk about scope of work, to the awesome team who did the heavy lifting. The team's work was greatly appreciated, and we would definitely look to Matco again for any office move (although hopefully not for a few years).
