Hands down best decision we made going with Matco. Movers were kind, helpful, hardworking and professional. Everything moved quickly and without a scratch. 10/10.
I used service of this company for moving from Alberta to Yukon, and I do recommend it. Original quote was a bit on a higher side, but once things got moving, it went down by about 25% because of actual measured mass of my goods, and also because the company was able to pair my shipment with someone else. Timing of loading and delivery dates was thoroughly discussed, and accurately followed.
I moved in December with matco. Some of my more precious and electronics I left behind at a friends house planning to return for a visit and bring rest of my stuff down with me in my vehicle. Then covid happened. I had such good experience with matco with Dec move that I gave them a call to see if they could pick rest of my stuff up from friends house. Sure enough. Matco provided the delivery end of a cross-country move for me, with the destination being a rural property down a windy 200m driveway. There were a few minor hiccups along the way, but in the end the delivery people were able to bring everything to where it needed to go and were extremely professional and courteous in doing so. So far everything seems undamaged and accounted for, though we are still in the process of unpacking!
the price has been updated twice. and if i did not agreed to pay they didn't want to give me back my things. They "supposedly" said the truck could not come to my house. which is not correct. I have had bigger trucks coming in the past. Plus, ALL the boxes were damaged, and a few goods were broken. I will definitely NEVER work with Matco anymore. and I will NEVER recommend them. i am really disappointed.
