I got botched. I unfortunately had a really disappointing experience with Fatima on Tuesday. From the start, it felt like she was mocking me, she commented that my hair was “so dry,” and when I mentioned wanting to cut off the dead ends, she made a gesture implying that all my hair was dead. I found that unprofessional and unnecessarily hurtful. I should have trusted my instincts and left, but instead I stayed and ended up with the worst haircut I’ve ever had.
