Matakata hired and set up the sperry tent and it really set the tone for our wedding day! Leanne and the team were so easy to work with and it was amazing to watch them pull the tent up and make it look so simple! The sperry tent created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration and looked absolutely stunning in the day and night. Couldn't recommend Matakata more highly for couples wanting that elegant, timeless look for their day.

Matakata were AMAZING to deal with!!! Planning a wedding can be so stressful, and even getting replies from vendors can prove frustrating, BUT we never experienced any of the stress or frustrations when dealing with Matakata Hire & Events! Communication was exceptional right from the first enquiry, all the way to the set up! We hired a double tipi, with lights and a dance floor, and it was GORGEOUS!!!! Matakata was simply unreal. We had 2 weeks of beautiful sunshine in the lead up to our big day and then copped 40mms through the night starting moments before the ceremony. The team were in constant contact as the forecast was getting hairy and we ended up pulling the trigger on getting an third tipi instead of the two.. an absolute masterstroke.
