I had a really bad experience with this guy. He agreed to take down a tree in my yard that died a few day earlier after looking at it on Friday, I called on Saturday to schedule a day. He said Tuesday. I told him that would be great because I need it down before the hurricane comes in. I have to make a call to rearrange my schedule to be off or work and I'll call him back in ten minutes. So, I call back. No answer, call again a bit later, nothing. Just had the craziest, most unprofessional experience with this guy. He came, looked at the tree, gave us a quote, and we asked him to come the following Tuesday. Then, out of the blue, he just ghosted us. All we wanted was to confirm he was coming, but we couldn’t get a response to a text or call. When my husband tried to call again, he BLOCKED my husband’s number. So we called from my phone, in case it was some kind of mistake. Jose and his team did an exceptional job cutting down 9 trees (1 around a power line and 1 close to the home). They removed their debris, grinded all the stumps and the cleanup they did was outstanding when they were done!! Raked up all sticks, wood chips, etc. Great communication from beginning to end, easy to get a hold of and a very honest price for the job! If you don’t use Mata Tree and Stump Service you are cheating yourself and pocketbook. Thank you Jose - Job Well Done!
