The folks who live here are Amish, your modern day Quakers. They do welcome visitors for woodfired pizza on Wednesday nights and participate in farmers markets. The 12 tribes cult took their lands and farms from them. They do not recommend visiting this factory. I have ordered Yerba matè bulk tea from mate factor for many years. i have never had a negative experience. Usually the order is shipped the same day. And the people are super nice!
Cult, be careful
I’ve drank their maté for 20 years, but never again. I had ordered and paid for a 5 lb bag of bulk maté online, but when I went to pick it up, a guy backed his truck in at angle, inches from my car, and corralled me in. He then interrogated me about why I was there. It was scary. I was just picking up my maté ffs. Whatever culty things they’re doing there, I want no part of it. People shouldn’t be treated that way just trying to pick up a purchase.
