We had a great time at Mastro’s! The food was delicious and our server Jeff was the perfect amount of attentive, gave tasty recommendations, and made our rare lunch date so memorable.
My second visit here was a little disappointing. I ordered the a5 wagyu and it was super dry on top and also lukewarm. For $175 it should have been perfect. I had ordered it before and it was a completely different steak experience. The cooks might be hit or miss. I didn’t want to send it back but I should have.
Was really excited to try this place but was pretty let down. We arrived early and ordered a cocktail at the bar. The bartender was less than friendly. He didn’t acknowledge my order so I wasn’t sure if he had even heard it. Dropped it off without saying anything. The service was a little better. Our waiter was nice, but not attentive and didn’t check in on us.
