Gave them as much benefit of the doubt as I could, truly had hope it was all misunderstandings. A year later I see how wrong I was. Horrible bedside manner, it's never their fault, and they leave you high and dry with the money they should have responsibly taken care of. Instead, bills went unpaid, and other bills being paid that were never agreed upon.
Mastino is terrible. As a new homeowner trying to figure out what to pay, where to pay it, and when to pay it, I have basically been cheated out of $150 in late fees now. They send me a single bill in Dec saying "You have $0.0 due at this point". I thought this was strange but figured I would wait until I received an ACTUAL bill from them. Then in September, I received a bill saying I owed the original bill which was due in January plus $105 in late fees. They can only do as much as an association votes for. There is so much more I’m learning that is the fault of inactive boards that seem to just pay a management company to place blame on. Since being on a board for a complex myself I’m learning this more and more. We dealt with an owner that had bad pipes in their unit and I was very impressed with their response time and having a plan of action, but action that the board had to be responsive to and still vote on. UPDATE: Because of my review, Kim will not give me the key to the pool. I sat through an HOA meeting, where keys were to be exchanged after the meeting, and because I'm not an owner (just a resident), Kim said she wouldn't do it. Despite having the pool contract signed by both my owners and me. Is there a monopoly on information? I didn't ask questions, didn't vote, didn't say a word. There's no records for Transitions HOA because they were all shredded! There is video proof JS. The one star is only because you have to rate them.
Unresponsive and rude HOA , I just bought a property in Denver , contacted Mastino HOA several times with the same concerns and up to this day I am still ignored .
Our community (Traditions in Aurora, CO) has been screwed over by Kim and Mastino big time. Surrounding neighborhoods have better pools, better parks, etc. and have less of an monthly HOA Fee, and now we find out that this company has stolen $159,000+ from us, which in turn is making our new management company raise our fees even more to make up what she and her company has kept. Our subdivision, TRADITIONS FILINGS 1-7 MASTER ASSOCIATION, INC., has been informed of the following by our new Management Company: The new Board of Directors found inconsistencies in financials and unaccounted financial records from Mastino Management. These findings led to the termination of Mastino. All records of the Association should have been provided to the the new Management Company, from Mastino, within 60 days of the transition.
