This is not Masthead Sails, anymore. Doug Fisher bought them and never updated the Google listing.
The sail I received was inexpensive so I'm not cross about it but it was over-rated. The sail is at least 50 years old, most all of the performance life is gone from it (mo matter WHAT you do with it it will never make any sort of a sound) it has multiple patches on it and some of the edges have come undone and need to be resewn. The sail was rated 'Good' and I don't think any sailor in the world would call it better than 'Fair', probably more like 'Usable'. Bought a sail and on the internet show is in good condition. It wasn't. Was manufactured in 1978 plus was used for training class. When I got it, was all stretch out and had like a lit of veins on it. I have been trying to get some answer and they keep saying I'll get with my boss and will contact you by email. I'm still waiting. I will never buy out of this place and I will tell all my friends out of PR not to buy from this place ever again. Customer service is 0. For the cost of it wasn't worth it.
I have personally driven to Masthead Sailing Gear three times with requests for rigging and sail modifications for my boat. Requests I know they can do. I'm not sure what is up with them, but I have never even had the courtesy of a call. I would try to avoid them if possible.
