Masterpiece staircase transformed our outdated stairs, and we couldn’t be more pleased! They were prompt, professional, and our staircase now looks amazing! We highly recommend them!
Always check the 1 star reviews...their communication and follow up is absent. They installed steel stairs without knowing if there was wall support through sheet rock. They assured us a return trip to repair the stairs.which never occurred. Consistent with past behavior, no response.
We went with Masterpiece Stair for our new custom home. We received bids from 3 companies. We chose Masterpiece stairs because of their personalized customer service. DJ met with me at first, explained to me the components on the bid, and the timeline of the project. He showed me the material. During construction, we encountered a framing issuing that might affect the stairwell, DJ came and spoke with our framer to solve the issue. Please avoid this company. They took 9 months and dozens of emails to get the design and parts. It took so long, promised species of wood were no longer available. The actual wood treads were not solid wood, they were glued scraps and they HAVE NO CAPACITY TO STAIN OR FINISH THE WOOD. The stair width was incorrectly measured and thus the stairs are not equal in size and undersized for normal dimensions. It is unbelievable that they could take so long to make so many errors. Masterpiece stairs made and installed a difficult staircase for my remodel. We did a modern monorail setup going from middle floor to upstairs with an open design, and a more traditional setup going to basement. They also did metal railing. Very happy with the quality and how everything turned out.
