We are very happy with our new paver ramp/porch and railings! We love walking up the gently sloped ramp to the level porch area to the door, it's so smooth compared to the old cement steps. It is beautiful, and a great improvement to our entryway. PCF was really great to work with, helping us with the planning, and they communicated with us through the process, and accommodated an adjustment we asked for during the process. All the workers on the project were excellent at their work, and were friendly and professional.

*** 9/1 Update based on business response *** Yes, this is a real review for a MasterDecks proposal received on July 15. We're not interested in further follow-ups from the business since the initial proposal was such a cost outlier compared to others. Of the 6 total bids we received, MasterDecks's was >2x the others for less scope (~$70k including tax for a 270sqft elevated deck, 3 new footings, posts, stairs, railings, demo, haul-away, etc. = ~$259/sqft project price, or $~237/sqft before tax). We had Masterdecks out to bid an elevated deck rebuild - pour new footings, replace posts, repair stairs, install new composite decking and metal railings. Responsiveness: good. Fast automated responses and an estimator came out within a week. This was the only positive and the reason for 2 stars vs 1. Estimate: not great. We just had PCF Construction / Master Decks replace our 23 year old, second floor wrap-around deck which had been rendered unsafe. The old one had to be completely demolished, right down to the cement "feet". It was a month long project due to its size and components. The result, is a beautiful piece of art. The construction team consisted of Heath, Kyle and David. All 3 did an amazing job. They worked hard each day. I was impressed with their work ethics. Horrible customer service. Communication with this company is extremely poor, and it was clear that employees are not on the same page. My service request was mishandled, and I was ultimately told, "it's probably better if we don't service you," which I found incredible rude and unprofessional. Every customer deserves to be treated with respect. My experience left me feeling dismissed. Customer service should be about helping people, not making them feel unwelcome.
