Driver arrived for delivery around 12 PM. Appointment was scheduled for 01/30 from 8 AM to 1 PM. Facility was closed due to team training, and no one was available to unload the truck. We contacted the broker, and they admitted it was their mistake. They offered a layover until Monday, which created a big issue since the driver had another load scheduled back to NY the same day. Work there and love it
If your agent or broker tells you to get the bills from the mail boxes by shipping door, disregard for this location. Bills are in the back of the trailer. The lady that explained this to me was pleasant and helpful.
First days are generally odd, when you start a job. The team made it clear, it is not a job a person is starting, but a career.
