The Ottawa Team is incredibly attentive to customer needs and requests!
The sales person I spoke to by phone was surprisingly rude and refused to clarify whether they sold a particular product because I wasn't a licensed contractor. He said this policy was meant to protect contractors. When I clarified that I only wanted to know if the item was available, explained that I had no intention of purchasing it through Master Group, and asked how my inquiry could hurt contractors, he simply stated that he had to end the conversation.
My customer had a problem with his York furnace. I was not in the city, so I sent my sales guy to pick up the inducer motor from Master's Nepean branch. Sales counter guys didnt sell the inducer motor, saying that my employee doesnt have the gas licence and it is the company policy not to sell any parts to someone without the gas licence, despite that being an employee of the gas company registered with TSSA. For years the counter staff has been rude. They don’t answer the phone, give you a hard time with everything and are not very knowledgeable. Go to any other wholesaler instead.
