The resort itself is nice. The timeshare... waste of time and money. I went to a tour yesterday was filled with great asperations of the future. Showed me a beautiful dog park and hiking trails, etc. I even bought in to a beautiful mountainside condo where they said I have until March 2024 to pay my down deposit. Went to sign and noticed it said $318.00 payments each month starting in Dec. I disputed and he said oh just call us. Do not deal with Massanutten Timeshares.. Have you checked how much it actually costs to”own” a timeshare? Over the 40+ years we have “owned’ ours it has cost us over $24,000 in maintenance fees. For 52 weeks they have collected over $31,000 in fees on EACH unit, EACH YEAR!!! You cannot give it back to them without paying over $4000 in “transfer/lawyer” fees. DO NOT QUESTION THE FINANCE OFFICE OR YOU WILL BE THREATENED WITH PHYSICAL VIOLENCE! MATT WAYLAN IS OUT OF CONTROL. We went to Massanutten Resort On January 26-27 2023. The "hotel" on property was nice, a little dated but clean. The Resort is beautiful. Went into town for dinner and then relaxed for the evening. The next morning we went in for our tour.
