I’ve been going to Maria for manual lymph drainage massages for several years, and there’s a reason why. She is simply the best of the best. I previously went to a different business and practitioner for this same service, and never received the results I saw with Maria. My body tends to hold onto swelling and fluid, and Maria’s methods and expertise have visible results. Even my husband noticed after just one session that my legs and ankles looked a lot less swollen. I couldn’t recommend Maria more.
I came in with a shoulder issue, and as someone in the medical field, I immediately recognized her deep knowledge of anatomy and her ability to pinpoint and address muscular imbalances. Not only did she effectively treat my shoulder, but she also went beyond that—relieving swelling that unexpectedly cleared my sinuses and improved my breathing. Her skill is truly remarkable, and I walked out feeling completely renewed. Highly recommend!

I strongly recommend Massages for Healing in Fairfax. Several family members and I have received massages there and, based on the excellent work done by Maria, we have returned for more treatments. Maria is both knowledgeable and skilled. The facility is clean and welcoming.
I called Maria because I had a great deal of unexpected post operative swelling that was quite uncomfortable. She rearranged her schedule to get me an appointment the same day. She was very knowledgeable, and took time to explain what lymphatic drainage massage was, and how I can do some of it in between sessions myself.
