TL;DR: I had a bad experience here and do NOT recommend this business. ------------------ I am deeply disappointed with my experience at MassageLuXe Fishers. My partner and I booked a Valentine's Day couples massage, hoping for a relaxing and enjoyable experience, but unfortunately, it was the opposite. Upon arrival, we were sat down to fill out waivers. I have been having facials done by Sophie B. For months and she is so good. Also had a message from Sarah recently and she is great as well. The location is clean, always has a relaxing feel and smell. Highly recommend!
It’s been over 24 hours since my massage, and I’m in more pain now than when I went in. I had some general tension in my upper back/shoulders, but nothing that was causing extreme pain. The massage therapist used some technique around my shoulder blades that was incredibly painful. She literally had to coach me on breathing through the pain, and told me she would only do 4 on each side. Trigger point felt like a medical exam I was failing - was hoping for something deep tissue and focused on problem areas I mentioned but they started somewhere else and while the touch wasn't supposed to be pleasant (it's therapeutic) the experience should have been... Asked them to stop 20 min in and converted to a decent "relaxing" massage but left more tense than when I arrived. Plus one star for the Hydro Massage table - that was great!
