I paid $68 for a massage. At checkout, I was asked about a tip. When I said yes and asked how much, the staff member changed her facial expression and attitude and repeated twice that the minimum tip was “at least $30.” That’s nearly 50% of the service price. A tip should be optional and based on service — not pressured or demanded. This behavior was rude and uncomfortable and completely ruined the experience. No goodbye, no courtesy — just pressure. I won’t be coming back!
I've seen many reviews mentioning bad experiences with Amber, and unfortunately mine wasn't any different. My phone call with her was extremely unpleasant, she came across as very rude, even raising her voice and saying I was being rude. When I asked to speak with a manager, she said she was the manager. Based on this experience, I won't be returning.
If you choose to go here, just know the staff may not value long-time customers and seems more interested in taking your money than providing respectful, professional service. I got deep tissue massage. Juice is very nice.
I normally go to a different massage place in Santa Monica but I had a gift certificate, so I went here for a change. I will be going here for my massages from now on!! Lovely staff, beautiful and immaculately clean facility, and the massage was one of the best I’ve had (with Chris). I looked at the prices and they’re also unbeatable, so if you’re looking for a great massage at a great price in Santa Monica, you really can’t go wrong here!
