I am disappointed to reveal that the Bunker Hill location has refused to cancel my membership twice upon request. I placed my cancelation paperwork in person on May 17th. I was charged a regular fee on May 22nd. I called corporate to request a refund and to reinforce my cancelation. I was unformed that I would be issued a refund despite a 10 day cancelation period (which I was not aware of prior to the corporate call). However, was never refunded without banking intervention. Two things I wish I would have known before getting a membership here: “One Hour” massages are actually 50 minutes and those 10 minutes make a difference. Also, To cancel your membership there is a 10 day processing window to ensure you are charged an extra month. I wasn’t aware of this and called to get cancellation expedited but was told there were many cancellations in front of me and now have been charged an extra month. Go to a locally owned massage studio instead of here.
Clunky is the word that comes to mind when I think of the massage I just had. Definitely was not worth the price and I regret coming unfortunately. My wonderful husband booked it for me after finding out my mom has cancer to be nice and I feel awful because it was quite possibly one of the worst massages I’ve ever had. The technique was quite strange and not relaxing whatsoever. Will not be back. Wish he could be refunded for the money he put towards it :(
