Do not sign up for the plan. They do not treat their members well. I had 9 credits in my account. I tried transferring a massage to my wife and was informed you can only transfer 1 a month, but only to the same person every six months. My wife and I should not have to each have our own accounts. They should treat spouses as a family not individuals. You also have to get emailed a form, sign it, and return it to cancel the account. Just another barrier to try to lock you in to the plan. Tyerra is magic. I have gone to her multiple times for a facial and I would highly recommend her services. She is so gentile and has magic hands, excellent skin care recommendations, and knows exactly how to personalize each session to your needs. She is kind, authentic, and easy to talk to but also leaves lots of space for quiet time and relaxation during your service. Very disappointed. I have enjoyed every massage but one since coming here. Not once, but twice I have had them cancel on me for an appointment. I had a scheduling conflict and had to cancel 1 appointment same day (hours in advance) and I just lose that massage and $85. Of course, the same courtesy doesn’t get extended to me to just reschedule. I definitely will not be renewing my membership.
I frequently get massages and I had one of the strangest experiencesntoday at Massage Envy. The experience started out fine, but quickly went down hill. Shortly after the massage therapist came into the room she told me she "may have passed gas" in the room. I honestly didn't even notice but thought the interaction was odd. I requested a medium pressure massage with a focus on my shoulders, but still wanted my legs, etc worked on. Complete waste of time. I literally get better massages at home from my girlfriend, by far, I’ve got chronic back and neck pain and this massage was literally a joke, he kept just rubbing the same area over and over and over again until it hurts. Meanwhile the rest of my back still hurts because again I’m in chronic pain, so while he’s focusing on only one area for 10 mins at a time the rest of my back started the spasm while waiting to be rubbed.
