AVOID Massage envy in South Portland. Front desk and management—and owner, apparently—are rude, combative, hostile, and don’t honor membership. They seem to be able to do so without fear of corporate reprisals, so they continue to tarnish the Massage Envy name. Their behavior is so appalling that I am far too uncomfortable to set foot in there again. They have an F rating from the BBB and two stars on Yelp. Made an appointment online. Unfortunately due to an emergency I had to cancel at the last minute. What was MOST important for me to know according to them is that next time they would charge me 50% for the visit. I get it, but things happen sometimes at the last minute. This was going to be my first ever massage and now I don’t Even feel comfortable going there. Didn’t even ask to re-schedule, which is fine because after that lack of professionalism there won’t be a next time / first time. Avoid this place! They are horrible... read more

Consistent quality massage services that have done wonders towards relieving me from pain. The only things that detracts from their services are noted inconsistencies between what I had originally scheduled and what I was told the day of services. Also do not bother with their app, seems very broken.
RecommendedI love this place! Massages are awesome but their facials are unbelievable. Marianne and Julia are so wonderful; I've never felt so relaxed in my entire life! Highly recommend!

Accommodating at first when I switched my membership from another location. But the last few appointments were not good for me. One staff made me feel very uncomfortable. In hindsight I should have said something at the time but I just wanted to get out of there ASAP. When I decided to cancel, the staff was almost indignant and rather matter of fact. I highly recommend Massage Envy in South Portland, ME. The front counter staff are always friendly and accommodating, especially Petra and Barrett. The therapists are amazing and make sure you feel pampered from start to finish. Margaret, Allison, Adam, Andrew and Heidi are some of my all stars. Worth every penny.
