Mary is an expert on the journey of motherhood. This was my first postpartum massage and I left feeling relaxed, energized, confident and nurtured. Not only is Mary a fantastic masseuse, her knowledge as a doula helped give me the massage I need as a new mom. My husband and I went to Mary Lou for a birthing class while preparing for our first child, and we absolutely loved working with her! The class made us feel so much more prepared and confident going into labor. She made everything easy to understand, interactive, and honestly fun. Mary Lou is an amazing woman. Went for my first prenatal massage and I can’t wait to go back! It was so relaxing and educational. She shared so much knowledge about the body and gave tips on ways to prepare for birth and being a mom. I highly recommend her to any woman, pregnant or not.
I’ve been going to Mary Lou for over 2 years now. My chiropractor recommended her and I couldn’t be happier. Not only is the massage relaxing and just what you need before, during, and after pregnancy; but she is also a safe space to talk about anything related to your pregnancy as she used to be a doula. Mary Lou is amazing. She made sure that I was comfortable the entire time throughout my prenatal massage. She is extremely knowledgeable and doesn’t push, rather, gentle encourages birth planning that will fit MY personality, lifestyle and beliefs. I will definitely make another appointment.
