Amazing food, gelato, and staff! I love the cooking videos and recipes with nonna! I love seeing where and how the gelato gets made and the new flavors that continue to come out! There is no Italian cafe like this! Well done! I continue to share this place with all of my clients and friends!
Saw this on Facebook, decided to take a drive down from Gurnee Illinois. Took about an hour to get there. Met the owner as we walked in, Angelo is very very nice and super polite. We ordered some food and he brought over a amazing salad that he made himself. Everything was oh my God spectacular the chicken parmesan sandwich was awesome the Italian sub bread was incredible and the meat was sliced paper thin. Fantastic authentic Italian food. A MUST try if you are in the area. Simply outstanding .
Food was too expensive for what you get. Getting a salad at 14 dollars and having to pay an additional 6.50 for chicken is too much. Minestrone, Mandalay salad, vodka burrata pizza, and the vivo panini were alright. The restaurant was very loud with no space to sit. The woman at the register was not welcoming and very monotone. They had our to go order sitting there, we had to ask about it after noticing staff was cleaning and not making food. Parking is hard to find, typically full due to the row of restaurants.
