Absolutely fantastic seafood spot in lovely Lawrence Kansas. Classy but fun atmosphere, definitely check out happy hour and then stay for dinner!
Fish house is my favorite restaurant! I normally have a great experience and food is phenomenal. However, our server Jess did not care to actually serve us. As someone who has been a server, it was very disappointing to have someone disappear and not acknowledge their lack of service at that. I guess we had higher expectations. Next time we'll go into KC to the Bristol or McCormick's. We had the shrimp cocktail which was delicious! Shrimp was perfect. We split the large fish and chips which was 2 pieces of greasy fish and fries. Pub food which if we were going to a pub would have been expected. The waiter? Super nice guy but was in gym shorts.
