I've been attending this doctor now for roughly about 6 years, and had an amazing luck with them. They were always very understanding and quick to get to me. On 12/22/25 They scheduled me for a physical on 1/8/26, they called me on 12/30/26 and left a message that unfortunately my doctor would not be available on that day and I would have to reschedule, This was fine. Relocated to the area relatively recently so I called to become a patient because I was informed this location is accepting new patients. I spent 36 minutes on the phone waiting to register as a new patient. I was then transferred to scheduling to wait on hold for another 14 minutes only to find out that “they are scheduling appts into 2028 but are unable to see those dates to provide me with an appt”. My open letter to DFM: I’m reaching out today to offer my perspective as one of your patients’ partner. My partner, (redacted), has been suffering from some sort of respiratory illness for the past two weeks, as have our two year-old son and I. I have been a patient of Joanne Michonski's for many years. The past few years I have been having the same recurring issues come up.
