Highly do not recommend
Dr Kara Mason was my dentist over two decades ago. I relocated south and had to leave her practice. I often compare all subsequent dentists to her. Dr Mason is the gold standard of dentistry. I’ve known no other dentist that comes close to her knowledge and professionalism in the dentistry field. If it was prudent to travel over 200 miles to continue being Dr Mason’s patient, I would in a heartbeat. New York has a true gem in Dr Mason.
I didn't realize how bad this dentist was until years later after going to other dentists. She told me I needed a replacement crown and 5 "pre-cavities" filled in. I didn't have dental insurance so asked for all the prices up front, then agreed to do the crown which turned out to be 15% more expensive than quoted. I elected not to fill the "pre-cavities" (at $350 each!) due to cost. When I pointed out that my gum was inflamed above the new crown, she said it was normal/ok.
