When searching for a place I wanted some place small and personal so Mom wouldn't get lost. Mason Country care was perfect. She didn't have to share a room. The staff were all loving and caring. She was well fed and taken care of. She passed away recently at the age of 103 but she couldn't have been at a better place.
Down to earth, 24/7 care. Great 1 on 1 experience and easy to work with.
This is a high stress job for the pay you have way to many responsibilities for what is required you should be making $13-15 per hour. Not to mention using a hoyer lift and your the only person on staff. The manager puts way to much on first shift while second shift has barely anything to do. Third shift does most of the cleaning and has things to do but first shift has to get up 6 people dress them get meds around prepare breakfast and lunch and prep every thing for dinner plus toilet these people every 2 hours it’s non sto... read more
