First time doing this and while I was a bit anxious, this setting and the calm manner of the staff eased my fears. Alex is a true professional with lots of empathy and knowledge. I really enjoyed my first session and can’t wait to go back.
Until a month ago, I viewed acupuncture as "voodoo medicine". On a suggestion and recommendation from my therapist, I started going to Maryville Acupuncture two months ago to help manage my PTSD and anxiety issues. I had my first consult and treatment today. It was a nice place and the receptionist was so sweet and helpful. I’m seeing Jennifer and I couldn’t be more pleased. She was friendly and listened to everything I said. She was very knowledgeable about the issues I deal with on a daily basis. Just finished my second session yesterday and I truly believe that acupuncture is another tool to help me deal with the challenges of life, especially mindfulness, stress, anxiety, and pain. The office is very welcoming and calm from the moment you walk through the door. Sarah or Elizabeth greet you and start the experience off in an inviting way. I absolutely love coming here and I look forward to my appointments so much! Everyone is so nice and welcoming and they really help you feel comfortable and safe. Acupuncture has helped me so much and Kate is just the best! I will not go anywhere else.
