The State of Maryland will stop offering retirees Medicare Part D coverage as of January 1, 2019. Unthinkable! We were only informed about that a few days ago, although the process began in 2011. Now you tell us! What kind of state is this??!! I suggest that all retirees affected by this matter contact your State representatives and demand that Part D coverage be restored for Maryland State retirees.
I'm only speaking to my over-the-phone experience, but someone needs to do a refresher course for the people who take our calls, including the Supervisor to whom I spoke about the less-than-genial associate who took one of my calls. When I asked him a question at the end of my summary of my experience (part of which included the associate interrupting me at least twice), there was silence.
