In the beginning of my spouse’s lymphoma diagnosis about 7 years ago, we were referred to a wonderful doctor at Maryland Oncology and Hemotology, however shortly after, he moved on to another position and we were given another doctor by default. For the most part, in the beginning, she was responsive and managed to keep his lymphoma in check. The doctors and the nurses are very professionals but the scheduler’s are very rude, unprofessional, one person in particular took it very personal and the worst part is that she’ll look at your face and said am not rude! It’s already traumatic knowing that you have cancer, you need to be strong mentally and emotionally the last thing you want is to deal with drama….

I got a referral and have been trying to reach them by phone for the last 2 days. I've called 8-12 times and been stuck in the phone loop for 15+ minutes each time. Hopefully they are better at medicine than answering the phone...not that I'll ever find out at this rate. I've also filled out an electronic appointment request on the website and haven't gotten a response to that either.

I've been trying to get in touch for a few days to make a new patient appointment but they don't return calls.
