If I could give this place a zero star rating I would because it is the worst place to be. Don't put your loved ones in there! I know it looks nice but it is a severely isolated lockdown atmosphere. No music, nothing to watch on TV that doesn't even work, nothing to do all day. People posing as social workers and psychiatrists who actually are not licensed for those titles. Lack of humanity. Beautiful hospital with well equipped staff. This mental hospital saved my family member and she left here way better than we brought her. If I could you guys a bazillion times I would.

My family and I were initially optimistic when my mother was admitted to this facility. Her case worker, Debbie, was very kind in the beginning and took the time to listen to our concerns. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ended. We were given a number to call with any issues, yet no one ever answers the phone. My family made repeated attempts to check on our mother’s status. Yesterday alone, my sister called 17 times before finally reaching someone. This center has only been open since ~2022. They have things to work out, but they did a good job; the medical staffing shortage nationwide has affected them.

My experience with this facility, having placed my mother in similar ones across Illinois 4 times previous in my life, was the best I have ever had. She was the calmest I have ever seen her while in treatment. The staff takes the time to talk to family and understand their patients history and things that family would see but not necessarily the patient who is suffering.
