Terrible experience with Maryland First Title. Not only did I need to call the bank myself for payoff (even though they could have done on their own) - they have been holding an overpayment due to me after closing for over 3 months. It also took them over a month to record our title with the State of Maryland. Numerous mistakes were made and I’ve had to follow up weekly. No proactive communication - would never use them again.
