I didn’t feel listened to because I was “ only “ pre diabetic and had insulin resistance. She said there’s nothing she can do for me and asked why I was back since she discharged me. I finally found a new endocrinologist that actually wants to help and educated me with things to do and I now have a plan and I am wearing a CGM and she’s prescribing me a proper dose of metformin. Was very disappointed that she Dr Horta made me feel that that what I was feeling was insignificant.
3/9/26: Dr Horta to me was caring. It's office staff that are rude and unprofessional. They need retraining on having compassion for the public or get out of the field, care & compassion is lost with this office staff.
I would give this office 0 stars if I could. I have been trying to make an appointment for over 2 months and no matter what I do or information I provide I can't get an appt. Don't waste your time if you are trying to be a new patient here.

I have been under Dr Horta care for about 2 years. My condition is stable and well managed Dr Horta is competent and caring. I highly recommend Dr Horta. Good luck. Richard Fogel
