Staff was friendly and prepared, wait time was minimal. Dr Shearin is the perfect blend of personality and professional expertise. She reviews previous records and gives a detailed printed summary of your visit. Dr. Harrington monitors all anesthesia so that I woke up alert and unaware of any pain. I would really miss her care if unavailable! My experience was pleasant. I went to lunch after the exam.
Dr. Shearing is a good doctor but she needs to work with office staff. Poor communication between staff and patient. Takes to long to follow up after procedure is done. Received call from office staff 2 weeks after procedure, wanting me to come in for follow up with Doctor. I asked for appointment for the following month and was told they didn’t have calendar for that month and would need to call me back. Never heard anything back. I went to my primary doctor and she had results. Poor follow up.
Dr. Shearin is an excellent provider. Very professional and thoughtful. Explain my procedure before and after so I could understand what was going on.
Dr Shearin has been my Gastroenterologist for a long time. Just had my 3rd colonoscopy/egd on 2/7/18. She has removed polyps, and treats my reflux and IBS. She and her staff do an excellent job! Thank You for your upbeat and helpful office!
I have been a patient sense 1985. This was my 3rd Colonoscopy/ Endoscopy with Dr Shearin. Her attention to you and detailed information about what she is going to be doing and the care is the reason I like this Doctor!!
Talks to patient as if she is a drill sergeant....Somewhat robotic. Does not have a good "bedside manner".
Dr. Shearin has been my doctor for many years. I have a 50+ year history of Ulcerative Colitis and she's thorough, empathetic and gentle in her care. She's patient and concerned and answers my questions without hesitation. I have the utmost respect for her ability to deal with my disease.
Wonderful Dr. Fantastic staff highly recommend this office
