Regis has been SO helpful in walking me through my medication journey! She has been a huge value to my healthcare as a whole! I feel strongly that that the mental healthcare profession is VITAL! Mental health should be fought for in our healthcare systems! We need to be fighting for more mental healthcare help in Portland, Oregon! I experienced strong adverse effects caused by a medication combination. These problems had already been occurring for over a week, in increasing severity. When I explained this to McDonald, she was dismissive and argumentative. She was actually shouting at me. Her only advice was to decrease one of the doses. Rather than listening to her, I went to the ER. I ended up having moderate serotonin syndrome. The doctors even had to consult with poison control. I even had to be monitored overnight.
