I have seen Dr. Poag for years. She is the kindest, most caring physician I have ever experienced. Her Dad was also a great pediatrician, she use to make rounds with her Dad on weekends, so she has been around medicine a long time. She learned from the best! (Mom and Dad)
I was a patient of Dr. Poag’s for nearly 20 years, but have found a new doctor after my last, VERY unprofessional visit. I recently got married and once I told Dr. Poag that I did not want to be taken off of birth control because we are not interested in having children at the moment, I was lectured how “your generation is having too few of babies, if any at all, and it is a real problem” followed by “I want you to have at least two babies”. Dr Poag is compassionate and a good listener. Her support staff are the best. I’ve been a patient for many years and can’t sing her praises enough.
Simply the best! Knowledgeable, caring , gentle!
I highly recommend Dr. Poag. She always makes me feel comfortable and called me personally to give me the results. Not many doctors do that. I love her so much!
