She gave up on our counseling... waste of time. If it can't be solved through church or prayer she doesn't want to to help.

I thought she would be helpful at first, then I realized it was ALL about the money. I’m hurt that I shared my feelings with someone who could care less. It is ALL about the money when it comes down to ANY medical or therapy. Saddened.

When I was looking for a therapist, I had criteria in mind. I wanted someone skilled in family / couple's therapy and who was trained in a particular researched based premarital counseling program. Ms. Tabers met those criteria. Unfortunately, my insurance doesn't cover pre-marital counseling, and although not cheap, I'm not a person who puts money above getting help for myself, so I paid for each of the 9 sessions. Best investment of my life. She was prepared, focussed, and professional. Have recommended her to others.
