On today's episode of how corrupt is healthcare... Dr. Pastoral advised me that due to my age (44) and Dx she would code my procedure a certain way for insurance to cover the cost. Well my insurance denied the claim and stated the doctor did not code it properly. After speaking to the doctor's office they refuse to correct the coding. Now I am 100% responsible for the bill.
