I have grown up with Dr. Kiaira as my pediatrician. With my siblings and I, she has always offered the utmost care and support. Now as an adult, she has left a big impression on our family even though she no longer sees us as patients. Her and her staff are very kind and knowledgeable. Totally agree—kind and considerate. Takes time to understand and is sensitive to children’s unique needs. She recognizes that every kid is different and is willing to research information to help patients when you ask questions. She is humble, so her opinions are thoughtful and collaborative. She always follows up reliably after visits. She trusts moms’ observations, and addresses concerns thoroughly rather than dismissing them as ‘normal’. She has a true heart for helping vulnerable children in the pediatric field
Kind and patient. I have never talked to someone in the medical field who has been as empathetic. She asked thoughtful questions about my ethnicity and my daughter’s background. I am white passing, and my daughter is not. And while I understand sometimes backgrounds can relate to health patterns, once I shared details, she treated her with consistent care and respect. Decided to stay with her practice. I can imagine my daughter being treated as valued and important.
