It’s a smaller campground with some sites on the river. There is a water spigot where you check in. The sites are pretty close to each others and privacy is lacking. The camp is very clean. Bathrooms are Porta-potty. Dump station and bathhouse are at the marina, less than a mile down the road. I loved the tall trees in that camp.
Very nice state park campground. Some sites have electricity and others don't. There are no full hookups. The dump station is located at the marina and is not in within the actual campground. The camp store is also located at the marina. Which you can get to with a short hike The sites are all wooded offering plenty of shade. There is a nice tent camping in area with primitive sites next to the river. The camp opens up to the Maumee River to offering a fantastic view of the river!
Hidden Gem of a campground! A+
Beautiful destination for a ride on a sunny day. Wildlife and walking to Grand Rapids. I go 4 or 5 times in the summer on bike rides.
