It was beautiful when we went up. You can walk into the beginnings of the the Mississippi, the go for quite a ways down stream. There is a boardwalk and path to walk also if you don't want to walk in the stream, but it's clean and clear. Recommended!
It was a lot of fun and relaxing for me.
What a delightful place! There is a small café here with decent food as well as a mostly-paved walking path, going from this center to the Headwaters. Perfect walking distance, even for our 1 and 3 year old. The gift shop here is small, yet no lacking of options of souvenirs and keepsakes, as well as some mouth watering fudge. If you are ever up this way, make the stop here!
Great place, super atmosphere, scenery is outstanding!!!!!!
So much to learn and see. Great Cafe and gift shop. Clean bathrooms and a great place to stop to see the headwaters.
