The women who work in reception are extremely rude. I made an appointment with them through the upmc helpline who is very helpful. I got called out of town for a work emergency and because I forgot to call they refuse to allow me to schedule a new appointment. I understand that my failure to call ahead was my fault, however I don't think it's -- to have a receptionist with no medical training to refuse treatment to patient's just because it causes an inconvenience to the office girl to have to schedule a new appointment.
