Dr Mary Ward was my PCP for 13 years. I literally cried when she left WellMed to pursue other endeavors. Due to her expertise and our faith in God she has been instrumental in saving the lives of my husband and I . He experienced prostate cancer that she caught through his labs and refered to an amazing oncologists and she referred me to the best team of gastroenterologists (Dr’s Alabai and Patel) that had to perform emergency surgery on me within 24 hours because of my MRI results. Dr. Ward is no longer in practice at WellMed. Not sure where she went but I was never notified, they only notified Medicaid/Medicare patients, not commercial insurance patients. Some commercial plans require PCP election and if we’re not notified that a provider left, we’d have no idea because it’s not posted on the website anywhere.

Completely checked out and apathetic. Didn’t listen to my condition/symptoms at all. Prescribed me a medication that doesn’t even treat what I have. She was late to the appointment, and acted like I was wasting her time. I shouldn’t have wasted my time and just gone to a specialist… every once in a while, you get a great PCP… This is not one of them. I have felt more respected and heard from cashiers at Walmart.
