They want a $20 fee to try on one of their synthetic wigs. They will tell you the $20 is to puchase a cap to wear under the wig, however those caps are simply pantyhose caps they give out for free at other wig stores. At best it may be a mesh cap, which normally costs about $2.50. I understand if these were $5800 human hair pieces like at Paula's in Toronto (who actually don't even charge to try on), but a $300 synthetic piece? Got my hair braided by Lokadia for my wedding and she blew it out of the water! They are the perfect length/size and she was able to finish them on her own super quickly. I was expecting it to take about 8 hours but she had them done in 5! The price is also a lot more reasonable than other braiding places in town I have found. I highly recommend her services if you are looking to get your hair braided!
