I think Dr. Yia is a great doctor. Detail oriented, smart, great bedside manners. But I just can't take this anymore. She's my primary care doctor but she's never available. She has cancelled or been unavailable for multiple ANNUAL physicals, leaving me scrambling to find an alternative doctor or waiting a month out or more to see her. Your primary doctor is supposed to be your main point of contact for your health. But I can never see her when I'm sick and I often can't see her when I'm healthy. I'm fed up.
I have never dealt with a worse supporting staff then this office. Dr Mary herself is good but only when you are able to reach her. Going through her unprofessional staff with attitude and nasty tones is in itself a headache.Once this cycle is over i am changing the doctor as did my wife (was also her patient) a year ago for the same reason.
Came for my 2pm appointment at 2:10pm. I fully understand that coming 10 minutes lates means that I will have to wait. But a full hour? Then on too of that when I asked the receptionist (who was very nice) about it, whoever was messaging her was telling her that I might not be seen. Worst experience i have ever had when im just tryna make sure that im heathy after being sick. First and last time. Im still here right now in the exam room and its 3:51. I can hear the doctor chatting about nonsense with the patient next door.
Do not use this office I sent medical form over five times with no response.
Dr. Yia is absolutely the best doctor. She’s attentive, takes her time to make sure she is thorough in her questions; sign of an excellent diagnostician. I never feel rushed and she’s a great listener. She has referred me to excellent doctors/specialists. I highly recommend Dr. Yia. Please do not pay attention to those giving less than 4 stars.
