Refused to let me use the rec center with a membership I recently became homeless from a car accident while working with uber for which I'm still fighting the other party insurance at fault for over a month. Found a job near facility and was hoping to shower after work. I feel this falls under discrimination. Privately own or not
This is a fantastic local community recreational center that offers access to programs such as swim and summer camps to locals. They are inviting to out-of-town visitors (like us) and visitor prices are very reasonable. Myrtle Beach is a very lucky to have this center!
I don't recommend you go there if you're not an Horry Country resident and just traveling through. The lady at the front desk was very rude to us and wouldn't let us buy a day pass for use of the facility.
