Dr Ashmead completed a sinuplasty that has been very helpful opening narrowed sinus areas that were problematic for many years. I was hesitant to try this procedure but was in very capable hands. She listens to your input on follow-up appointments and addresses issues as to how you are experiencing any on-going symptoms until you are completely healed. Dr. Asmead is truly exceptional. I am a scuba diver, and I experienced pain near my left cheek while descending in the water. Thinking the problem was a tooth, 2 dentists said my teeth were okay and not the problem. After doing my own research, I suspected that my problem might be related to my left maxillary sinus not pressure-equalizing during descent. It’s called barotrauma and can be quite painful.
